 Concert to benefit Diocese of Youngstown Pro-Life Office First Steps for Change Program

 

YOUNGSTOWN — May 1, 2009 — Colleen McNally-Harris, a Youngstown-based Soprano who performs Celtic and Sacred music, presents ‘Celtic Grace’, a concert in celebration of the Feast of Saint Columba. The event will take place at St. Columba Cathedral on Sunday, June 7, 2009 at 7 PM. Colleen will be joined in this performance by Cathedral director of music, Dr. Daniel Laginya, tenor William Ambert, harpist Kirk Kupensky, guitarist Craig Suhar, alto Sharyn Chrystal and special guest from Pittsburgh, PA, piper Andrew Bova.  Musical selections will include traditional Celtic and sacred music from Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England.   Colleen is a member of the Cathedral Parish where she is a Cantor and Choir Member.  She also is part of the Chant Schola at Saint Dominic Parish in Youngstown.  Colleen has produced two CD’s: Celtic Grace and Christmas Tapestry.

The Concert is free and open to the public. A free-will collection will be taken for the benefit of the Diocese of Youngstown Pro-Life Office, First Steps for Change Program.  In addition, a reception will follow the event in Cathedral Hall.
